From 5 – 7 May 2006, the final Workshop of the Project VS/RDE/02: “Management Tools of Coastal Environment for Sustainable Development" including two sub-projects VS/RDE-02HP, VS/RDE-02NT under Vietnam–Sweden Research Cooperation Program was organized at Nha Trang Institute of Oceanography. Participating in the Workshop were representatives of all projects under RDE subprogram, PMU/MoST, VAST, Environment Protection Department – MoNRE, local provinces, and scientists involved in the project. Presented at the Workshop was also Prof. Micheal Tedengren from Swedish Counterpart Institution.

In the framework of the Agreement on Continued Research Cooperation between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and the Government of Sweden, the Viet Nam-Sweden Research Cooperation Programme, period 2004-2007, executed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, has the honor to call for proposals to the second round of the Research Fund.
